Conversations stay on your child's device unless Cloud Sync is on: it is off on the free plan, comes on with a premium plan so you can review conversations from any device, and you can switch it off at any time. With it on, history is stored encrypted and deleted automatically on a rolling schedule. Whether or not Cloud Sync is on, we keep a short automated summary of each conversation (the topics it covered and how many messages it had, sometimes with links to images made in it) for 30 days, so we can send you your weekly parent update; it is deleted automatically after that. We never ask children for their location or contact details.
